Mr. Jamal Abou Senna is a proven senior executive with over 38 years of experience in the banking sector as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), specializing in developing strategic plans, annual business plans, budgets, and corporate balanced scorecards.
He currently serves as the Chief Financial and Investment Officer (CFO) at Industrial Development Bank (IDB).
Previously, he held the position of CFO at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB). He also served as Head of Financial Control and Strategic Planning and CFO at Union National Bank – Egypt (currently Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank – ADCB) from 2007 to 2019.
Prior to that, he was Deputy General Manager at Egyptian American Bank – Cairo (currently Crédit Agricole) from 1999 to 2004. Earlier in his career, he served as Financial Controller at Riyad Bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 1992 to 1999.
Mr. Jamal has graduated from Helwan University, Cairo, in May 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in commerce and business administration. He holds an Executive Diploma in SME Development from the International Training Centre of the ILO – Turin – Italy , as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
In addition to his executive roles, he has represented companies on their Boards of Directors, including Alexandria Medical Center, Casting Company, ARDIC (a real estate developer), and I-Score—overseeing governance, overall risk and performance, corporate growth, financial strategy, and capital planning.
